Using Food as Medicine!!




With the kids feeling crummy with the change of the seasons I've put together one of my tried and true remedies! Instead of running to the pharmacy though, I went strait to the produce section. #foodismedicine


I grabbed Turmeric and Ginger. I had some Damn Good Honey already at home. But you'll need that too. Local is always best!



Just grate the tumeric and ginger and place in jar. How much will depend on taste...I fill a little more than half the jar.



Pour honey over and stick in fridge. It's really that easy and It will stay good for a loooong time!



I give spoonful's with some apple cider vinegar and they are usually feeling better within a couple of days. This stuff is magic and the kids love it!! Plus it cost me almost nothing. Honey will definitely be the most expensive, but so worth it!
